HeForShe McGill will be hosting an educational event to raise awareness towards the gender- and sex- based violence faced by womxn in Iran, perpetuated by the Iranian regime, the result of national demonstrations protesting the murder of Mahsa Amini by morality police, for showing her hair.

We will be joined by Iranian activist and author Shaparak Shajarizadeh, who will speak about her experience in Iran, what the people of Iran are currently facing, and what we can do here to support the fight for justice.
We are welcoming all new and returning HeForShe Mc We are welcoming all new and returning HeForShe McGill members, as well as any prospective or interested students, to join us at Café Code Noir for our Café Social! 
It’s an opportunity to meet everyone, get acquainted with the committees, and relax in a fun environment!
